The work
Patience is the first ingredient.
Each fruit begins weeks before the day you eat it. Lemons candied slowly until their bitter edge turns to honey. Sablés baked in small batches. Mousses set overnight; glazes poured at the last possible moment, while warm.
Nothing is rushed. Nothing is shortcut. The illusion only lands because the craft is real.
